Book Launch: How to Pin Down Smoke: ruangrupa since 2000

It’s nongkrong time. As part of the ‘Disobedient Science’ programme at Pelican House on 7 May 2026 we will be joined by Iswanto Hartono (ruangrupa) to celebrate How to Pin Down Smoke: ruangrupa since 2000 with a relaxed sharing of food and music. The evening programme also includes a conversation between artist Ingrid Pollard and writer Katherine McKittrick on Black time, dreaming and liberatory practices; and a performance by sound artist Dirar Kalash connecting collective listening practices to the politics of space and time in Palestine.
